Casa rural Fontano is situated in the small, mountain village Montanchez in the Sierra de Montanchez, in one of the oldest and most traditional part of the town. The house dates back to 1890. It has been renovated carefully, retaining many original features including stone arches and vaulted, brick ceilings.

The views from the house are extensive, down the valley and across the mountain range. There is also a splendid view of the castle from the terrace. There is a small park nearby which belongs to the hermitage of Remedio. You can make many interesting and beautiful walks through the town and up into the mountain range through varied landscapes of olive groves, vineyards, chestnut - and oak forests. 

The house has a sitting/dining room with fireplace, a kitchen, two rooms with a double bed and a room with two single beds. All bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms. The house has 2 floors with the terrace on the upper floor. There is central heating and air-conditioning in all rooms.
